Seems like a good time for the Penguins to buy a 1st overall pick...

Ain't no need to buy anything when Uncle Gary gives it to us for free.

Boy the getting rid of McCann for nothing narrative is getting old at this point. The Kraken were going to pick whatever center we left exposed as there was no Center depth in the expansion draft. It was either Carter or McCann and Carter is the better Center at this point.

I look at it like the Kraken picked McCann and we traded Tanev for Hallander and McGinn, which would be a positive since Tanev had an "unmovable" contract. Now stop with the McCann for nothing nonsense.

Maybe just gotta sacrifice a few baby yinzers in the process, but who needs em when they're just going to grow up to wear fluorescent orange jackets with camo pants, a carhart hat and chew coppenhagen? Could probably use a few less of those dummies.

Except for that second season of Coach Farce where we didn't hit 100 points until the very last game against a dumpster fire pre-Eichel Buffalo squad, our product pretty much never gets stale during the regular season, so I think not selling UFAs at the deadline is a pretty safe bet. We'll just be exhausted by mid-March due to compensating for all the injuries and general age and get bounced in the 1st round again unless McGinn and Heinen somehow become 40+ point players out of nowhere.

Oh yeah. We’re in like year 3 of the Red Wings Downfall script. Probably got 2 maybe 3 more seasons of making the playoffs and losing before we start seeing bottom of the division standings.

My supervisor at my old job was an ex-ranger who was hyper addicted to the chaw. Had a lipper of Copenhagen in at all times of the day, and we’re talking about a place where the dress code was suit and tie. The GM of the office was a crazy disciplinarian who would regularly send people home for wearing dresses or suits she deemed to out there, so no idea how Tommy got away with very clearly dipping in the office. I think he swallowed the dip spit when she was around to hide it.

Hahaha, savages. Yinzer Fashion is definitely the best. Especially when they got their Polamalu jersey on under their RealTree HD jacket.

Not to mention how long it'll take him to get back up to game speed and more so his confidence. Geno's confidence is a waning thing at times, it seems to stick out more for him than anyone else I've ever watched haha. He always gets it back though but if last season was an indication of anything I expect at least a month after his return until he looks good/confident. At least.

I had to Google what Copenhagen was haha. I obviously know what chewing tobacco is but have honestly never seen anyone in real life, my whole life, chew it anywhere around me.

It’s worse than you think. Copenhagen isn’t even chewing tobacco, it’s dipping tobacco. The idea of someone chewing dip is an extremely gnarly, wild man move.

Filip Hallander hasn’t taken shift with Team 2 during surgery. He was on ice for early drill work before leaving that session early.

I'm a little confused by this tweet by Rossi. Is Hallander having surgery? Did get he injured?

A funny memory I have is when I lived in TN. I got pulled over for speeding in Mississippi and when I did the safe driving course to get the points removed, I had to go to this tiny town in MS that probably had a population of a few thousand people. The instructor was giving some rules for the class in the beginning, i.e. eating, etc... He went on to say, "If ya'll are gonna dip, just don't spit too loud, please."

I dipped for nearly 20 years and the thought just now of "chewing" dip made me gag profusely.

Turns ya on a little bit to see that Steelers emblem hidden in the RealTree eh? It's okay, I've traded in my flourescent orange for SaltLife fishing gear here in Florida, so I'm just as bad.

I just had to Google dipping tobacco hahah....so it's kind of similar in appearance but instead of chewing it you leave it between bottom lip and gum?
